Shanghai, China – On June 26, ShanghaiMicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. (“MicroPort EP”) obtained the registrationcertificate of National Medical Products Administration (“NMPA”) for its in-housedeveloped OptimAblate™ Cardiac RF Generator.
The OptimAblate™ Cardiac RF Generator is usedto provide radiofrequency energy for catheter radiofrequency ablation in thetreatment of tachyarrhythmia.
The OptimAblate™ Cardiac RF Generatorhas received CE mark approval in 2015 and obtained approvals for market launchin Turkey and other countries. The NMPA approval marked the official launch ofMicroPort EP’s Cardiac RF Generator following Columbus™ 3D EP NavigationSystem and OptimAblate™ Irrigation Pump, and signifies another solid step ofMicroPort EP in becoming the provider of “a complete solution platformcombining active and nonactive, device and equipment.”
